About Palmyra and Mark: a dynamic duo with a passion for enjoying life
Palmyra and Mark are an energetic and ambitious couple who know how to strike the perfect balance between work and pleasure. Mark is a self-employed kitchen fitter with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. His passion for cooking and barbecuing has earned him the nickname “BBQ Master” at home – a title he proudly embraces during relaxed evenings with friends and family. Palmyra has built her career as a Director in HR Consultancy. She combines strategic insight with a genuine passion for people and gets her energy from helping organisations get the best out of themselves and their people. Together, they have two wonderful sons, Noah and Sem, who share their enthusiasm for adventure and the great outdoors. As keen hikers, they regularly head out to discover new walking routes, from the forests of the Veluwe and the Zeeland coast to the volcanic landscapes of Tenerife. Good food, whether at home or dining out, is always high on their list.
Palmyra and Mark work hard, but they also know how important it is to make time to relax. Whether it is a cosy evening in their chalet on the Veluwe or in Zeeland, a sunny holiday in Tenerife or simply spending time together with a good glass of wine, they make the most of life. Their goal? Not only to find their own balance between work and relaxation, but also to inspire others and offer them a place where they can experience that same sense of balance. In this way, they combine their passions with their entrepreneurial spirit and are delighted to share their favourite places with others!

How we started
Palmyra and Mark wanted to share their passion for adventure, nature, and relaxation with others. As avid travelers, they discovered time and again how valuable it is to find a place that offers peace and coziness. This gave them the idea to start their own holiday accommodation.
With their experience in both the business world and home renovation, they found a beautiful location that perfectly aligned with their love for nature. The goal? To create a place where people can escape the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy nature, good food, and each other.
By collaborating with local partners and leveraging their knowledge of hospitality, Palmyra and Mark wanted not only to offer a lovely place but also to support the region.
